Youths Enterprise Development and Innovation Society (YEDIS) is a youth-focused nongovernmental organization accredited with Special Consultative Status by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC) since 2025. The organization is committed to advancing entrepreneurship, innovation, digital inclusion, sustainable development, and economic empowerment among young people and vulnerable communities in Nigeria and globally through policy contributions. YEDIS implements initiatives in youth empowerment, agribusiness development, digital skills, education, women’s economic inclusion, climate action, and policy advocacy, while fostering partnerships with local and international institutions to promote sustainable social and economic transformation.

Participation in WSF 2026
Youths Enterprise Development and Innovation Society (YEDIS) intends to participate in the World Social Forum to contribute to global discussions on youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, sustainable development, digital inclusion, climate action, and social justice. The organization seeks to share its experiences and community-based initiatives, build strategic partnerships with international civil society organizations and development actors, exchange knowledge and best practices, and strengthen collaborative efforts toward inclusive and sustainable development in Nigeria, Africa, and globally.
