Connected Advocacy is
a local to global organization focused on localizing policy implementation at
the intersection of climate, humanitarian, environmental governance, and energy
access. We are committed to advancing local leadership, inclusive
participation, accountable resource mobilization, and locally led anticipatory
action for sustainable development in Nigeria and across Africa.
Missão
Our mission is to bridge the gap between
grassroots communities,local actors, policymakers, and global institutions by amplifying
marginalized voices across governance, climate justice, humanitarian action,
and development processes for sustainable
localization
.
ObjectivesFacilitate dialogue among stakeholders on the implementation of localization commitments in climate, humanitarian, and environmental sectors.Identify barriers and opportunities for increasing direct funding and decision-making power for local actors.Promote locally led solutions and best practices that are delivering measurable impact across Africa.Strengthen partnerships among governments, donors, civil society, youth networks, and community-based organizations.Develop policy recommendations and action plans for advancing localization and inclusive governance.Amplify youth, women, and frontline community voices in shaping climate and development priorities.Connected Advocacy’s core programs objective focus on localization
of climate-humanitarian environmental action, civic engagement and governance
reform, youth leadership development, energy access, and public policy
advocacy. Through these programs, we strengthen local community leadership participation
in decision-making, promote transparency and accountability in public
institutions, and support inclusive policy dialogue aligned with the
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and United Nations frameworks.

THE
GLOBAL LOCALIZATION FORUM - AFRICA CONSULTATIVE DIALOGUE:seeks to provide a high-level multi-stakeholder platform for dialogue, learning, and action to strengthen locally led climate action, humanitarian response, environmental governance, and energy access initiatives across Africa. The Forum will bring together policymakers, development partners, civil society organizations, grassroots actors, youth leaders, academia, and private sector stakeholders to identify practical pathways for advancing localization and community-led development.Theme\"Advancing Local Leadership for Inclusive Climate Governance, Humanitarian Reform, Environmental Sustainability, and Energy Democracy in Africa.\"GoalTo strengthen Africa\'s localization agenda by promoting meaningful participation, leadership, and financing for local actors in climate, humanitarian, environmental, and energy access initiatives.
