The "Tharwa N'Fadhma N'Soumeur" association is a feminist association for equality before the law between women and men. Created in 1997 by Algerian feminists, it was a counter to the discourse of the Islamic Salvation Front, which called feminists daughters of Joan of Arc.
Mission
The association "Tharwa N'Fadhma N'Soumeur" aims to demand the repeal of the family code and its replacement with civil and egalitarian laws. The association "Tharwa N'Fadhma N'Soumeur" is a member of the monitoring committee of the Maghreb Social Forum "FSMag".
