The Family Green Corporation (FGC) The Family Green Corporation (FGC) is a non-profit organization, open to all regardless of sex, race, tribe, culture, or religion. It was established on September 23, 2016, in the town of Njombé and officially registered on December 22, 2016, under registration number 164/RDA/C16/SAAJP. It works to protect and preserve the environment through education for sustainable development, community conservation, and the implementation, expansion, and promotion of green and renewable energy through sustainable waste management. This includes the production of eco-friendly charcoal, biogas, biofertilizer (compost), and the recycling of plastic waste into paving stones. The FGC also aims to combat unsanitary conditions in particular and climate change in general, promoting... Income-Generating Activities (IGAs) aimed at improving the living conditions of the population.
Mission
The primary objective of the FGC is to improve the living conditions of populations (mainly rural and peri-urban) through the sustainable management of waste for the creation and development of green and renewable energy, sanitation of towns and villages, rehabilitation and creation of green spaces, and the fight against climate change. This is achieved while also working to improve the image of towns and villages, promoting youth and green employment through income-generating activities (IGAs) by providing opportunities that contribute added value to the national economy.
The secondary objectives that accompany this vision include, among others:
- Ensuring access for all to reliable, sustainable, and modern energy services at an affordable cost through waste management, while also contributing to the fight against climate change,
- Preserving and restoring terrestrial ecosystems, ensuring their sustainable use, and combating deforestation,
- To halt and reverse the process of land degradation and end the loss of biodiversity through the use of biofertilizers for organic farming,

To promote the development of the local economy through the creation of income-generating activities (production of eco-charcoal, plastic paving stones, eco-friendly furniture, solar energy, biogas, and organic fertilizers, and organic farming),
