Jeunesse Espérance Bénin is a non-profit, apolitical, and secular organization. It is dedicated to the well-being of humanity through education, training, and the socio-professional reintegration of children, adolescents, and vulnerable individuals. It is committed to climate education for a more equitable and better world.
Mission
The goal of JEUNESSE ESPÉRANCE BENIN is to: - Promote grassroots development through the ongoing maintenance of a solidarity network for disadvantaged social groups; - Achieve the holistic development of its members—physically, morally, intellectually, spiritually, and socially—in a spirit of fraternity; - Foster friendly relations with other national and international organizations sharing the same ideals, respecting the individual, choices, and mutual interests; - Promote ICTs; - Promote legal education and access to justice; - Promote literacy and basic French for adults; - Promote the education and reintegration of children in difficult situations; - Combat child trafficking; - Promote vocational training for out-of-school and unschooled youth. - Promote environmental protection and climate education; - Promote technical support for farmers' organizations; - Promote self-employment; - Promote community health communication and the fight against STIs/HIV-AIDS and all other infectious diseases; - Promote the fight against poverty; - Promote the creation of income-generating activities; - Promote savings and self-managed credit; - Promote tourism in general and ecotourism in particular; - Promote and value local cultures
Participation in WSF 2026
We plan to participate fully in the organization of thematic workshops, participate in convergence general assemblies, forge partnerships with other organizations in the North, and maintain a dynamic of mutual sharing of experience.
