Created in December 2017 at the initiative of a woman with a disability, the "Organization for Disabled Relief – Guinea (OSH-Guinea)" is a non-governmental, non-profit, apolitical organization under Guinean law, founded on principles of rejecting all forms of discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, and political or denominational opinion, which works to support people with disabilities and those who are dependent. The NGO OSH-Guinea works with people with disabilities and those who are dependent using participatory and inclusive approaches.

Vision
of OSH-Guinea: “OSH-Guinea dreams of a more just and egalitarian society where the rights of people with disabilities are respected and their potential is developed.” Its main mission is: “To improve the living conditions of Persons with Disabilities (PDs), in order to empower them and ensure their full participation in the development process of their country. The objectives are: to promote inclusive and adapted education for Persons with Disabilities (children and adults); to promote and facilitate access for Persons with Disabilities to medical and paramedical care; to promote the empowerment of Persons with Disabilities through training, socio-professional integration, and Income-Generating Activities (IGAs); to combat all forms of violence against Persons with Disabilities (children and adults); to contribute to the elimination of all social and physical barriers that hinder the emancipation of Persons with Disabilities; and to promote inclusive governance. democracy.
