Women in Law and Development in Africa/ Femmes, Droit et développement en Afrique WiLDAF/FeDDAF is a pan-African network for the promotion and defense of women's rights in Africa established in 1990 and covering twenty-two (22) African countries including Benin and whose Beninese section of WiLDAF/FeDDAF-Benin was installed on June 18, 1999 following a Constituent General Assembly.

Mission

Mission: To inform the public, train stakeholders, strengthen women's capacities, and influence governments and their partners, in order to establish a socio-cultural, legislative, regulatory, and institutional framework conducive to the effective enjoyment of their rights. Objective: To work towards the emergence of a culture of exercising and respecting women's rights by using the law as a tool to conduct legal education on women's rights and to advocate for the improvement of the legal framework for promoting women's rights at the national and regional levels in Africa, with the aim of contributing to inclusive and participatory development.
