Frame and
Objectives
The Tensift Region Development Center (CDRT) is a non-governmental organization established on April 25, 1998, whose main objective is to contribute to the promotion of the Marrakech region.
The CDRT is an organized framework for initiatives, a space for reflection and support of regional development policies. Today, it is a source of proposals for decision-makers and citizens of the region.
The relevance of its activities has earned it the following:
- Status as a recognized public-benefit association
in July 2006.
- Observer status at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Strengths of the CDRT:
Ò Its human resources and network of partners
Ò The CDRT counts among its active members university professors, doctors, engineers, entrepreneurs, and executives from diverse backgrounds.
Ò The CDRT also draws on other expertise through its network of contacts and partners; it has developed a broad and diverse partnership both nationally and internationally.
Ò The CDRT's accounts are monitored by an accounting firm and audited annually by a chartered accountant firm.
