Catholic Diocesan Development Organisation (NABOCADO) is a Catholic faith-based
organization dedicated to promoting rural development since 1981.  It is the integral human development wing of
the Catholic Diocese of Navrongo-Bolgatanga heaquartered in the Bolgatanga, the
Upper East Regional Capital.Established in 1981 as projects office
of the Diocese, it underwent restructuring in 1991 as the Diocesan Development
Office (DDO) and was eventually registered as NABOCADO in 2018 with the Ghana
Registrar General’s Department with number CG 018372018; and as a Faith-based
Non-Profit Organization (NPO) with the licence number NPOS/UE11/LN01347/24 as a
National Non-Profit Organization to operate as a Charity organization of the
Diocese. This is to make it more systematic in promoting integral human
development in the area of Health services, Education, Livelihood and Advocacy
and Good Governance, Justice and Peace. NABOCADO operates across four
main sectors: Livelihood and Agric; Justice, Peace and Humanitarian Response;
Health and Education. Each sector is overseen by a Director, with coordination
facilitated by the Executive Director.
