and forest Degradation) with all its suggested variants. Champion the cause for Afrocentric and real solutions that do not disenfranchise , exploit or commodify nature
Participation in WSF 2026
The No REDD in Africa Network(NRAN) which was birthed at a WSF event in 2013 is posed to intentionally and strategically participate at the WSF to help generate topical discussions
on the issues which REDD+ projects have generated in Africa as a
whole, it will also help to expose the falsehood
which is incumbent in all carbon offsets and markets schemes and also build
resilience and knowledge on how to resist the false solutions and narratives
such as REDD+ and all other deceptive variants. We hope to also engage other like minded organisations through the dissemination of our research publication material.
