Description

The implementation of the 2030 Agenda can only succeed through the active participation of grassroots movements, civil society organizations, Indigenous Peoples, local communities, youth, women, and other rights holders. This session will explore how to strengthen inclusive and democratic participation in sustainable development processes, ensuring that those most affected by social, economic, and environmental challenges are not only consulted but become equal partners in shaping policies and solutions. Participants will exchange experiences on building collaborative spaces, promoting community-led initiatives, fostering solidarity across sectors and regions, and advancing people-centered approaches that leave no one behind.
