MeineWelt e.V. is a non-profit, migrant-led and diasporic organization based in Germany that promotes intercultural understanding, education, empowerment, diversity and inclusion. Since 2011, the organization has worked to bring the perspectives, knowledge and experiences of people from Africa, Asia and Latin America into German society.The mission of MeineWelt e.V. is to create spaces for exchange, learning and empowerment, especially for underrepresented communities and people from the Global South. Through educational projects, workshops, cultural initiatives and partnerships, the organization raises awareness of racism, discrimination, postcolonial perspectives and global justice.Together with PLACE for Africa, MeineWelt e.V. co-initiated Black Academy, an educational initiative that develops learning materials, workshops and resources to strengthen anti-racist education, Black perspectives, empowerment and inclusive learning spaces.
Missão
Its objectives are to strengthen intercultural dialogue, increase the visibility of marginalized voices, support anti-racist and inclusive learning processes, and develop innovative approaches to global education and social participation.
Participação no FSM 2026
MeineWelt e.V. intends to participate in the WSF to exchange knowledge, experiences and practices with civil society organizations, migrant-led initiatives, activists and educational actors working on anti-racism, empowerment, global justice and inclusive education.Together with PLACE for Africa, our partner organization in Benin, we are developing programmes and educational materials that support empowerment, political education and community-based learning. One of our joint programmes brings together more than 500 women from West Africa, creating spaces for exchange, capacity-building, mutual support and collective action.Through our participation in the WSF, we would like to present this work, share our educational approaches and materials, and create opportunities for dialogue with other organizations and movements. We also hope to strengthen international partnerships, learn from similar initiatives, and explore how educational tools can contribute to empowerment, social justice and sustainable change.
