Presentation

RACINES is a Beninese association
created on October 30, 1999, and registered with the Ministry of the Interior
under No. 2001/069/MISAT/DC/SG/DAI/SAAP-ASSOC, then published in the Official Gazette on February 15, 2001, on page 134.

Its vision is to be a highly visible, professional, and independent NGO working for the well-being of vulnerable populations with a view to sustainable development. It currently operates in five priority areas or themes: education, health, gender, nutrition, and empowerment.

Mission

Promoting sustainable development for vulnerable communities to empower them through their active involvement in education, health, the environment, food and nutrition security, microfinance, women's and girls' empowerment, gender equality, action research, and advisory support.
