Presentation
The National Federation of Naam Groups (FNGN) is an association founded in 1967 by Dr. Bernard Lédéa OUEDRAOGO. It was officially recognized as an association in 1978 by receipt number 123IS/DGI dated September 1, 1978. The FNGN's philosophy is "develop without harming." In accordance with this philosophy, the Naam Groups aim to organize, coordinate, and guide development initiatives; promote economic, social, and cultural activities; and encourage and develop the technical, economic, and civic training of its members. The FNGN operates in 83 departments of Burkina Faso, spread across 28 provinces and 11 regions. The FNGN's interventions primarily target family farms and producer groups within its member unions.
