The Widows and Orphans Movement (WOM) is a Ghana-based non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting the rights, dignity, and wellbeing of widows, orphans, and vulnerable communities. WOM works to advance gender equality, social justice, and sustainable livelihoods through advocacy, community empowerment, and capacity building. The organization supports women's economic empowerment, agroecology, climate resilience, and protection against harmful socio-cultural practices. WOM collaborates with local communities, traditional leaders, civil society organizations, and government institutions to drive inclusive development. Through its work, WOM amplifies the voices of marginalized groups and promotes community-led solutions for sustainable change.
