Action for the Support of Women and Children Victims of Rape and Violence (AEFEV) is an organization under Congolese law in the Democratic Republic of Congo, created in 2002 following atrocities committed against women and children in South Kivu since the so-called liberation war of 1997 which followed the reception of Rwandan refugees fleeing the 1994 genocide.
Mission
AEFEV aims to end impunity for rape and other serious crimes, protect and promote individual and community rights, and empower women and children as agents of social and societal change.
Participation in WSF 2026
To foster partnerships with other structures, to participate in convergence activities for the exchange of experiences and skills, to participate in thematic workshops and to advocate for actions in my country so that wars and human rights violations end in my region.
