The Centre for Environmental Justice-Togo (CJE-Togo), in English, “Centre for Environmental Justice-Togo (CEJ-Togo)” is a Togolese civil society organization (CSO) whose general objective is to contribute to the improvement of the socio-economic and cultural living conditions of grassroots communities in a sustainable and participatory human development approach. CJE-Togo is active in mobilizing and empowering communities to take ownership of issues related to climate change, the consequences of fossil fuel exploitation, and the fight for an energy transition controlled by the people and communities.
Mission
Mobilizing communities and peoples affected by extractivism to defend their rights and find just alternatives to the problems they face.
