Mission
To improve the health, education, and economic prospects of women, girls, orphans, and vulnerable children in underserved Nigerian communities, through free, transparent, and accountable programs that restore dignity and open opportunity.
Vision
A Nigeria where every woman, girl, and vulnerable child — regardless of circumstance — has access to the health, education, and support needed to thrive.
Objectives
Improve access to basic and preventive healthcare and nutrition support for orphans, vulnerable children, and women in host communities.Expand educational access and support — including school materials, literacy support, and skills training — for OVCs and girls at risk of dropping out.Strengthen economic empowerment for women and girls through vocational training and livelihood support.Promote transparency and accountability in service delivery, in contrast to non-profits that misuse donor resources.Build partnerships with donors, government agencies, and civil society to scale program reach beyond current beneficiaries.

Pure Heart Foundation is honored to participate in the 17th edition of the World Social Forum, taking place in Cotonou, Benin from August 4–8, 2026 — a landmark return of the Forum to Africa and a historic opportunity to situate grassroots work from Nigeria within a global movement for social justice.
As an organization dedicated to the empowerment of women, girls, and vulnerable children through health, education, and nutrition interventions, Pure Heart Foundation sees WSF 2026 as a vital space to connect with fellow civil society actors, social movements, and development partners advancing shared goals around gender equality, human rights, and community-driven alternatives to systemic inequality.
Our participation is driven by three core intentions:
Learning and Exchange — To engage with grassroots organizations across Africa and the diaspora working on gender equity, child protection, and community empowerment, and to bring back proven strategies and innovations to strengthen our programs in Lagos and beyond.Visibility and Positioning — To present Pure Heart Foundation\'s work to an international audience of funders, NGOs, and policymakers, and to position the Foundation as a credible, transparent, and impactful actor within Nigeria\'s non-profit landscape.Partnership Building — To forge new collaborations with organizations and networks aligned with our thematic focus — particularly those working at the intersection of gender justice, child welfare, and community resilience — with a view toward joint programming, funding opportunities, and long-term solidarity.
We see the Forum\'s return to West Africa as more than symbolic: it is a call to African-led organizations to claim space in shaping the alternatives the Forum envisions. Pure Heart Foundation looks forward to contributing our voice, our experience, and our commitment to \"another world is possible\" — one where every woman, girl, and vulnerable child has the opportunity to thrive.
