Mission
The objectives of AVES are to: (i) Contribute to improving the living conditions of the poorest and most vulnerable by offering them better access to basic social services so they can meet their fundamental needs; (ii) Strengthen the concept of good environmental management; (iii) Promote cultural exchange and international solidarity through strengthened youth volunteerism to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals; (iv) Facilitate the sharing of information, ideas, experiences, and resources among different development organizations;

A.V.E.S. collaborates with national and/or international organizations, institutions, and public and non-governmental services to benefit from operational or technical support, as well as certain institutional programs and projects.
Participation in WSF 2026
This involves participating in the thematic workshop on Socio-Environmental Justice, whose overall objective is to raise awareness and strengthen the capacities of participants on the issues of socio-environmental justice, emphasizing the links between the environment, social equity, and sustainable development. The workshop will address local issues and challenges related to (i) access to water, land, and natural resources; (ii) pollution and waste management; and (iii) deforestation and climate change. The methodology is based on interactive presentations, group work, case studies, and brainstorming.
