INADES-FORMATION BURKINA is an NGO that supports socio-economic initiatives in the most disadvantaged communities living in rural, peri-urban, and urban areas. Founded in Burkina Faso in 1975 and officially recognized in 1995, it works in four key areas: promoting food systems based on family farming, building resilience to climate change, community microfinance, and inclusive governance. INADES-FORMATION BURKINA is a member of the INADES-FORMATION network, which operates in 10 African countries.
Mission
Mission: To work towards the social and economic advancement of populations, placing particular emphasis on their free and responsible participation in the transformation of their societies. Objectives: To contribute to promoting food systems based on family farming for a dignified life for all; to contribute to improving the living conditions of populations through community institutions aware of their full responsibility in the sustainable management of natural resources and in guiding socio-economic initiatives adapted to the challenges of climate change; to promote the implementation of mechanisms that guarantee harmonious coexistence at the local community level.
