Apresentação

Oilwatch Africa is a network of resistance to the impacts of fossil fuels (oil, gas and coal) industries on people’s and their environments. It is the African unit of Oilwatch International.  Oilwatch Africa is a network that builds solidarity and promotes a common identity in the peoples of Africa seeking to stop the expansion of fossil fuel extraction activities that degrades territories, socially and environmentally.

Participação no FSM 2026

As first-time participants, our intention in participating in this year’s World Social Forum (WSF), is to introduce our the Oilwatch Africa network, build solidarity with like-minded movements and civil society actors, learn from global experiences, and explore partnerships that can strengthen our work and amplify the voices of the frontline and grassroots communities to resist and defend their land and rights.
