Presentation
The Voice of Migrant Association (VOMA) is a non-profit, community-based organization dedicated to promoting safe migration, combating irregular migration, preventing human trafficking and migrant smuggling, and supporting the reintegration and well-being of migrants and returnees.
VOMA works with communities, schools, youth groups, government agencies, civil society organizations, and development partners to raise awareness about migration risks while promoting informed migration decisions and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Mission
To empower individuals and communities through awareness, advocacy, education, psychosocial support, and capacity-building initiatives that promote safe migration pathways and protect vulnerable populations from trafficking and exploitation.
Objectives
Increase public awareness of the dangers of irregular migration.
Prevent human trafficking and migrant smuggling through campaign
Support returnees through mentorship and reintegration programs.
Strengthen community resilience against migration-related vulnerabilities.
Foster collaboration among government agencies, NGOs, and community stakeholders.
Promote informed decision-making among young people and prospective migrants.
Participation in WSF 2026
VOMA wishes to participate in the Conference to learn from global experts, build strategic partnerships, share our field experience on safe migration and anti-trafficking initiatives, and strengthen our capacity to better serve migrants, returnees, and vulnerable communities. The conference will help us amplify our impact and contribute meaningfully to migration policy and practice.
