Historically, colonial powers have drawn physical borders to fragment the African continent and mental borders to divide its peoples. Today, global capitalism uses Afrophobia and xenophobia as weapons to shatter working-class solidarity and mask the ongoing plunder of our lands and natural resources by corporations. This session is an urgent and radical space aimed at rejecting these colonial divisions. Drawing on the ancestral wisdom of Ubuntu and Pan-Africanism, we will move beyond polite talk of “tolerance” to build an offensive political response. What concrete solidarity networks must we forge today to protect our communities from the rise of fascist and anti-migrant violence, while reaffirming our collective autonomy? Together, we will share frontline resistance strategies, heal colonial fractures, and engage in an in-depth reflection for a revolutionary Pan-African response to systemic oppression.
