From lithium and cobalt mega-mines to speculative carbon offset projects, this "green transition" is frequently built on the displacement of indigenous peoples and the destruction of local ecosystems—disproportionately impacting women who sustain communal life. This panel will critically unmask "green extractivism" and "green colonialism." what does an ecofeminist energy transition look like in practice? How do we shift power away from mega-corporations and return it to community-led, localized systems of survival and sovereignty? What specific resistance strategies are already working on our frontlines to stop this new wave of extractivism?"
