Format: Continental Panel Duration: 2 hours Co-organized by: CAD Mali, FNSES & World March of Women (Côte d’Ivoire), Peasant League (Kenya), Womin (South Africa), AIDC (South Africa), CADTM DRC, CADTM Africa Summary: More than one billion people live in sub-Saharan Africa. Numerous struggles are emerging against neoliberal policies, while some Sahelian states are adopting anti-imperialist positions. Delegates from several countries will present their analyses. Objectives: To provide an overview of current resistance movements. To understand regional dynamics. To strengthen pan-African alliances.
