Description
The HIC (Habitat International Coalition) Social and Feminist Movement Convergence serves as a political and strategic intersection where diverse grassroots organisers, housing advocates, and feminist leaders unite. Rather than a traditional, top-down report launch, this convergence is designed as a living, interactive space. The centrepiece of this event is the Launch of the Collective Statement of Shared Priorities—a document capturing intersecting struggles across housing rights, land defence, gender justice, and the care economy. The concept centres on converging distinct social movements to recognise that the fight for the right to the city and housing is fundamentally inseparable from feminist liberation and the dismantling of patriarchy.
