Lead organizations: RRAS & Home for Humanity & Ekta ParishadThis is a PAIX 2026 (Fabrique de Paix) workshop that focuses on how to strengthen the role of women leaders in fostering peace, nonviolence and justice in Africa. As women are disproportionately affected by conflict and war, and are often excluded from peace negotiations, the discussion will focus on how women overcome such barriers. Building on the contributions of African women leaders from every section of society, the objective would be to identify those women who have empowered others; have unique strategies for peacebuilding; and have created social change.
